Peter Askew | Managing Director and founder
Peter has been actively supporting the development and growth of ICT businesses for over 25 years. Peter has personally developed, from start-up, three successful small businesses over the past 15 years. In each of these businesses, he has been personally responsible for securing the start-up and development capital necessary to achieve growth objectives.
Recent major sales and consultancy projects for Peter include export development for Australian companies into Asia, with a specific focus on Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Significantly, Peter was contracted as Project Manager for the launch of AMP Financial Services (one of Australia’s largest financial institutions) in Japan which culminated in a joint venture partnership with NEC Japan, one of the largest corporations in the Asia Pacific.
Peter was also contracted by AAPT Telecommunications (Australia’s Third largest Telco), to develop and implement a new sales strategy and division targeting the government outsourcing program. Peter successfully led this division to secure the business of four out of five major tenders targeted as part of the outsourcing strategy. The group achieved sales of in excess of $68 million dollars for the 4 projects, increasing AAPT's annual Federal Government revenue from $2 million to in excess of $18 million annually.
Graham Bashford | Executive Director
Graham has recently retired as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Centrelink, a 25,000 person Australian Federal Government agency responsible for the acquisition and retention of new Government Agency business.
Previously in his career, Graham has been engaged as General Manager of Defence and Government at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he led a team of 48 people to successfully bid and win a number of multi-million dollar projects.
As General Manager at Auslig, Graham took responsibility for developing partnerships with state governments and leading the development of a number of successful multi-million dollar world bank-funded projects into Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
John Bridge | Executive Director
John is currently contracted as Chief Financial Officer of the Australian Fisheries and Forestry Department of the Australian Federal Government. Previously, John held a similar role in the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
In the past he has provided business advisory and project management services for the ACCC IT Market Testing Project and the Australian Customs Service and led for the Office of Asset Sales & IT Outsourcing on four major multimillion dollar projects.
Ian Excell | Director
Ian has a diverse professional background that has built him a substantial reputation. Ian is currently a successful consultant assisting smaller IT vendors to gain a presence in the Australian Federal Government market.
Over a 20 year period, Ian worked in a variety of sales and sales management roles - initially, for Australian re-sellers servicing the Australian Federal Government market and later he joined a North American based multi national software company to establish a presence in the Federal Government market. This lead to a branch management and national government lead role, while achieving substantial sale growth annually.
Pillip Sloper | Executive Director
Phillip is presently consulting to the department of Defence and Australian National Training Association. During his career, Phillip has been appointed Chief Examiner and Director of Innovation in Computing and Material Science and established a number of manufacturing/retailer and consulting entities for multi-national companies as well as operating boutique practices in both the United States and Australia. Phillip has directed a number of teams and has delivered contracted services to the department of Defence, mentored ICT Business units within Government, prepared strategic plans for the Army Acquisition Organisation and guided the Defence Department in responding to a tender for provision of ICT services across the department.
